The entire front page is taken up with a great letter titled: "The Texas Santa Fe Expedition" "San Antonio--Spanish Missions in the Neighborhood--Return to Austin--Sight of Comanche Indians". A terrific travelogue with a wealth early text on this journey though the West, much of it unexplored at this point.
Page 2 has an article: "Latest from Texas", pg. 7 has: "Horrible Murders by Negroes", and the back page has: "General Sam Houston".
Eight pages, light foxing, very nice condition.
