NEW YORK WORLD-TELEGRAM, June 6, 1939..

* German Ocean Liner MS St. Louis
* Jewish refugees are refused in Cuba
* "Voyage of the Damned" - Jews

The top of the front page has a one column heading: "Cuba Shuts Out 900 Refugees As Parley Fails" with subhead. (see)
Complete with all 32 pages, light toning at the margins, small library stamp within the masthead, small binding holes along the spine, generally nice.

wikipedia notes: The MS St. Louis was a German ocean liner most notable for a single voyage in 1939, in which its captain, Gustav Schröder, tried to find homes for 908 Jewish refugees from Germany. After they were denied entry to Cuba, Canada, and the United States, the refugees were finally accepted in various European countries, and historians have estimated that approximately a quarter of them died in death camps during World War II.
