* Cullen-Harrison Act signed


The banner headline announces the end of Prohibition with the banner headline: "BEER BACK AFTER 13 YEARS" and a column head: "President Signs Bill Permitting Sale On April 7" "Would Free Many Dry Law Victims".
Additionally the back page banner headline includes: "President Roosevelt Signs Bill Legalizing Beer..." with a photo of that happening. Also a photo of Babe Ruth noting he agreed to a salary reduction of $23,000.
Complete in 28 pages, 4 binding holes at the blank spine. This is the "rag edition" printed on high quality newsprint meant for institution holdings. Great condition.
