GAZETTE OF THE UNITED STATES & PHILA. DAILY ADVERTISER, Feb. 28, 1800  Among the front page ads are: $20 Reward" for a runaway negro man, with details; and also: "$30 Reward" for turning in a soldier who deserted from the Marine barracks. Two more similar ads on the back page.
Page 3 has most of a column taken up with a letter concerning the death of George Washington, beginning: "The commemoration of the death of General Washington...affected my mind in so pleasing a manner that I cannot refrain sending you a short account of them...". He died just over 2 months prior.
Four pages, never-trimmed margins, very nice condition.
