The front page has a one column heading: "BRITONS URGE CLOSE TIE, EVEN UNION, WITH U. S." with subhead. (see) This was his famous "Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few" speech.
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day with a front page page report of Leon Trotsky being attacked with a axe. He would die of his wounds the next day.
Complete with all 36 pages, light toning at the margins, small library stamp within the masthead, small binding holes along the spine, generally nice.
