July 11, 1901

ST. PAUL DISPATCH, Minneapolis, July 11, 1901  The top of the front page has an uncommonly large headline for thus event: "YOUNGER BROS. ARE PAROLED" "Action Was Taken by the State Board of Pardons at Its Session Today" and more (see photos).
Not surprising that large heads are in a Minnesota paper, as the Younger brothers were in jail for murder from Northfield (Minn.) bank robbery of 1876.Bob Younger died in prison in 1889; Jim would commit suicide in 1902; Cole lived until 1916.
Twelve pages, a bit irregular at the blank spine, various margin tears.
