DAILY NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Nov. 6, 1849  Page 3 has; "One Day's Emigration from Boston for California" reports on various ship departures, including: "...These vessels carried a total of 400 passengers...these passengers  will reach their destination somewhere about 1st of May, 1850...".
Also on pg. 3: "California Speculations" reports on cutting lumber of new house construction, while another person: "...is engaged sending forward extensive accommodations for the dead in the ship of a large invoice of splendid coffins...". and then: "California Houses" reports on the shipment of houses to California: "...They are made light, mostly by machinery, & the different parts packed by themselves so as to be ready for putting up immediately after they are landed  at San Francisco or at 'the diggins'....".
Four pages, very nice condition.
