The front page has a five column heading: "American Stars Win Game of Century" with subheads that include: "HOMER BY RUTH HELPS DEFEAT NATIONALS, 4-2" (see) the front page of section 2 (sports) has a great banner headline: "PERFECT TEAM PLAY MARKS GAME OF CENTURY" with subheads and photos of both teams. Nice for display. also a great full back page pictorial which includes two photos of Babe Ruth, one showing him hitting the home run and the other showing him crossing home plate. First report coverage on the very 1st major league baseball all-star game. Great to have from the city where this historic event took place. Very rare as such.
Complete with all 36 pages, this is the "rag edition" printed on very high quality newsprint meant for institutional holdings. In great condition as such, a few small binding holes at the blank spine.
