The front page has a one column heading: "Kill Sheriff, Take Robber from Ohio Jail" Photo of Dillinger is on the back page. (see) First report coverage on the raid that freed John Dillinger from the Lima, Ohio prison. This event made Dillinger an nationally known public enemy.
