A ftpg. report from Falmouth mentions a ship "...laden with Salt and Fish, homewards bound from Newfound-land..." and from Plymouth a vessel "...laden with Sugars from Barbadoes." Early mentions of the New World.
A report from "Rome" says the Pope "...fell into a swoon..." as he was about to be seated for the celebration of the Epiphany.
Complete as a single sheet newspaper, 7 by 11 inches, nice condition.
This is the world's oldest continually published newspaper in the English language, having begun 2 years prior in 1665 & is still printing today.
