November 21, 1832

NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Nov. 21, 1832

* Charles Carroll death
* Declaration of Independence signer (last survivor)
* From our nation's capital

The front page begins with a black-bordered report: "Funeral of Charles Carroll", the last surviving person who signed the Declaration of Independence. He was 95 years old at death.
Also at the top of the ftpg. is a black-bordered item: "Died" being Hon. Philip Doddridge, a Representative from Virginia. Page 3 has another black-bordered item on: "The Funeral of the Hon. Philip Doddridge".
Great to have this content in a newspaper from the nation's capital. Four pages. Although it has a small archival mend to the reverse side if the upper margin of both leaves, the issue is in very nice condition.
