February 26, 1933

CHICAGO DAILY TRIBUNE, Feb. 26, 1933

* Mayor Anton Cermak
* Close to death after shooting
* Best title to be had (rare)

The front page has a nice banner headline: "HOPE FOR MAYOR DWINDLES" with subheads. Nice for display. More on page 2 with related photo. Probably only reported in a Chicago publication. He would die a few days later of complications from an assassination attempt a few weeks earlier. The shots were meant for President F. D. Roosevelt.
Complete 1st section only with 16 pages, this is the "rag edition" printed on very high quality newsprint meant for institutional holdings. In great condition as such, a few small binding holes at the blank spine.
