THE GREAT WEST, Denver, Colorado, June 11, 1881
* Very rare Old West title
Certainly a great name for a newspaper from the Old West. The front page features two great prints: "The Disappointed Prospector" and: "Struck It Rich". Among the front page articles are: "Colorado Scenery" "A Magnificent Reason Why Women Should Not Vote!" "How Much Does it Cost to Open a Mine? and more. Other mining related articles inside.
A very rare title as outside of our limited holdings Gregory (Union List of American Newspapers) records only two institutions having but a single issue each.
Eight page, archivally rejoined at the spine, wear at the margins sith some loss at the spine not affecting text. Generally nice.
