The front page has a terrific banner headline: "SERIES OPENER DRAWS 43,000" with subheads. Nice for display. The front page of section 2 (sports) has another banner headline and a few related photos. And perhaps the best of all is a full back page pictorial showing the starting players and head coaches for each team. A great issue from the home of Wrigley Field.
Complete with all 32 pages, this is the "rag edition" printed on very high quality newsprint meant for institutional holdings. In great condition as such, a few small binding holes at the spine.
