Front page war reports include: "From Richmond" "Jackson's Victory Over Shields--Capture Of One Whole Regiment, And All Of Shields' Artillery--Jackson Still Pressing Him" & "From Richmond" "Official From 'Stonewall' Jackson--His Victory Over The Enemy". Includes a brief dispatch, signed in type: T. J. Jackson.
The front page also has: "The Battle Of Chickahominy" being a "private letter" written by a member of the Hampton Legion.
The back page has: "Northern Accounts Of The Battles Near Richmond" & "Recognition of the Southern Confederacy by France."
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, some light damp staining, generally nice condition.
