The front page has some ominous reports concerning the troubles in the South which would soon lead to the Civil War, with first column heads including: "The Revolution" "Important News from the South" "Projected Seizure of Fort Pickens, Pensacola" "The Responsibility of Civil War Thrown on the Lincoln Administration" "Secession of George From The Union" "Call for a State Convention in Missouri" "Interesting Reports from South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, and Virginia" and more.
Page 4 has a report headed: "The New Administration" "The Scramble at Springfield for the Spoils" with a bit of text.
