The front page of this section has a nice banner headline: "JOE DI MAGGIO SETS MODERN BATTING RECORD" with subheads, box scores and two related photos. (see) Nice for display. Of course game # 56 is the one everyone remembers as this was the amazing number he ended up finishing with. But here is when he actually broke the record that was held at the time by George Sisler.
Complete 2nd section only with 12 pages, light toning at the margins, a few small binding holes along the spine, generally very nice.
