THE DETROIT NEWS, June 25, 1964

* Mississippi Civil Rights workers disappear
* James Chaney - Philadelphia MS

The front page has a one column heading: "Fear 3 Are Dead in Miss." with subhead. Coverage continues on page 16 with small photo of Chaney. This was a notable civil rights-related murder. Their bodies would be found on August 4 & 21 when white men--most members of the Ku Klux Klan including a local sheriff & his deputy--would be arrested.
Other news of the day. Complete with 40+ pages, small binding holes along the spine, library stamping within the masthead, generally nice.
