* Very rare Old West title
This very small town (pop. 231 in 2010) is located near the geographic center of California, originally called "The Snelling Ranch". In 1870 it was changed to Snelling, a family that operated a way station since 1851. It is located just north of the larger city of Merced.
In addition to news items this issue has a great wealth of advertisements, many of which are illustrated.
Four pages, very nice, clean condition. This is the last issue we have at present.
