October 10, 1871

DAILY MORNING CHRONICLE, Washington, D.C., Oct. 10, 1871  The front page first column has: "CHICAGO" "In One Red Burial Blent" A Wasted City" "The Fire Fiend Triumphant" "A Terror Stricken Population" "100,000 Persons Houseless & Homeless" "10,000 Buildings Destroyed" "Suffering & Starvation" "Fleeing Before the Flames" and even more. The report takes over 3 column of detailed text.
Page 2 has: "Death of Michael Phelan, the Celebrated Billiard Table Manufacturer & Player".
Four pages, several creases, large folio size, some glue remnants on the pg. 4 spine, generally good.
Note: Since the issue is quite large and has already been folded at the mid-fold (typical), the folder auto-selected is the appropriately sized folder for when the issue is folded at the mid-fold - making it considerably easier to store.
