THE CONNECTICUT COURANT, Hartford, Sept. 23, 1799  Page 2 has an interesting illustrated ad for a "Post Rider from Hartford to Litchfield" who will be quitting the business, this being his formal notice (see). Page 3 has reporting on the Napoleonic Wars in Europe & includes a letter signed in type: Buonaparte.
