This is one of the best "non-first report" issues on Lincoln's assassination and funeral I've seen. See the photos for the nice front page headlines which take over half of the first column and include: "OUR GRIEF" "Additional Details of the Terrible Event of Friday Night" "Incidents Connected with the Sad Affair" "Scene of The Murder" "Sorrow in The Metropolis" and much more. The entire front page is taken up with these reports, including much on the details of the actual assassination, plus even more on pages 2, 4 & 8 as well. Various reports on the closing moments of the Civil War also. The front page also includes a letter signed in type by J. Wilkes Booth.
Eight pages, small binding slits at the spine, good condition.
