The subtitle in the masthead notes: "Devoted To The Leading Interests of California and the Pacific Coast". The content is varied and includes a wide range of ads as well.
An uncommon title with a displayable masthead featuring the seal of California, the seal of the city of San Francisco, and the seal of the county of Sacramento. Page 13 has: "Boiled Down Juice of the California Press" with various news tidbits from throughout the state (see).
Complete in 16 pages, 9 1/2 by 12 inches, never bound nor trimmed, foxing to the front page. The upper right corner has a "California Section State Library" stamp. We believe this to be the last issue in our inventory.
