LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, Nov. 14, 1874  Inside has five illustrations of notable buildings in San Francisco: "The "What Cheer House, A Celebrated Hotel For Miners" "The Jewish Synagogue On Sutter Street" "The Merchant's Exchange" "The California Theatre" and the "Chinese Mercantile Houses In Dupont Street".
The front page is a political cartoon showing U.S. Grant as "The Great Political Eclipse". Other prints as well.
Sixteen pages, the front page has some binding residue in the spine, a few margin stains, generally good condition.
