THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, June 10, 1766  Most of the front page is taken up with details of a pamphlet tiled: "Extract from Free & Candid Remarks on a Late Celebrated Oration, with some Few occasional Thoughts on the Late Commotions in America", relating to the issue of taxing the Americans (see for portions).
Page 6 has a curious item headed "America" datelined from Halifax, Nova Scotia, concerning a person refusing to pay a debt and action taken declaring hims not a Christian, & voted that he be a Jew, and ultimately resolved "...That he be circumcised..." and that he begged forgiveness & promised to be have better (see images).
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 inches, nice condition. A full red tax stamp is on the second page.
