The ftpg. has a letter from the Bay of Fundy in Canada concerning the arrival of Loyalists (see). Page 2 has a letter from New York which paints a dismal scenario there: "...There is in fact no government in this country, all is anarchy and confusion. The Congress have lost their influence & town meetings, committees & other tumultuous associations govern without control. Every paper is filled with Resolves against the Loyalists & nothing but vengeance is denounced..." and even more. The bkpg. has a few America-related items as well.
Four pages, folio size, red tax stamp on the ftpg., very nice condition.
