June 25, 1919

THE NEW YORK TIMES, June 25, 1919

* World War I officially ending
* Treaty of Versailles signing imminent

The top of the front page has a 3 line banner headline: "PEACE TREATY WILL BE SIGNED AT VERSAILLES FRIDAY; MUELLER IS LIKELY TO HEAD THE GERMAN DELEGATION; FRANCE WANTS REPARATION FOR THE SCUTTLED WARSHIPS" with various related subheads. Indeed, the official signing of the Versailles Treaty would happen just 3 days later.
Complete in 32 pages, light toning at the margins, a few small binding slits along the spine, generally nice.
