The ftpg. has some reports from the Revolutionary War including: "...by the channel of he rebels, received intelligence that a few recruits...have notwithstanding got into Boston...informs me that his Majesty's sloop the Atalanta, which had been taken after a very gallant action by the rebel frigate Alliance...was retaken by that detachment in Boston Bay...I had frequent intelligence from Rhode Island of the intentions of the enemy...The rebel General Greene, after his defeat at Guildford Court house penetrated into Carolina & after his second overthrow by Lord Rawdon at Camden, giving up all thoughts of Charlestown [Charleston], retired up the country and invested our post at Ninety-Six..." with more on the events of General Greene in the South. Also a letter from Vice Admiral Arbuthnot dated off Sandy Hook (see).
Page 2 has war-related events in the Caribbean. Page 6 has a letter for the governor of West Florida concerning Pensacola, etc. Also a letter from Lt. Co. Balfour at Charleston, to Lord George Germaine, which relate some events concerning the battle at  Hobkirk's Hill, South Carolina. Other fine content as well.
Eight pages, 9 by 11 1/2 inches, a bit irregular at the spine, very nice condition.
