The sport's section (page 13) has a one column heading: "YANKEES WIN TWICE BEFORE 40,000 FANS" with subheads: "Capacity Crowd Sees Hugmen Beat Athletics, 10-3 and 3-2, in Final Home Games" "Gates Are Closed At 1:15" "Police Turn Away 25,000 as Throngs Storm Polo Grounds--One Fatality Recorded". This was the last game the Yankees played at the Polo Grounds. Yankee Stadium, their new home, would open the following season in 1923.
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete with all 32 pages, light toning and minor wear at the margins, irregular along the spine, generally good.
