THE NEW YORK TIMES, May 20, 1927
* Charles Lindbergh's historic Transatlantic flight
* Spirit of St. Louis about to take off (day of)
The top of the front page has a two column headline: "LINDBERGH IS SET TO FLY AT DAYLIGHT IF WEATHER CONDITIONS REMAIN GOOD" with subheads that include: "ALL PREPARATIONS MADE" "Excited Crowds Gather" and more. Lindbergh would take off a few hours after this edition was published. (Late Edition-5 A.M.)
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete with all 40 pages, irregular along the spine, otherwise very nice.
