A few paragraphs begin: "...I had received intelligence that Generals Washington and Lee had passed the Delaware with their army...I had good information that General Washington was up in his whole army, estimated at about 20,000...The enemy's cavalry, commanded it is sad by M. La Fayette, having approached within our reach...Thinking it possible that the event might draw to a general action...Fearing that my first order had miscarried, before I quitted this ground I sent a second..." and much more.
There is a very lengthy "State Paper" granted to the military leaders in America for "...the quieting and extinguishing of divers Jealousies and Apprehensions of Danger in the Americas." (see for portions).
Various other American content as well, photos showing portions.
