* Early television tests

The top of the front page has a two headline announcing the invention of television, with: "FAR-OFF SPEAKERS SEEN AS WELL AS HEARD HERE IN A TEST OF TELEVISION" with subheads; "Life A Photo come To Life" "Hoover's Face Plainly Imaged as He Speaks in Washington" "The First Tim In History" "Pictures Are flashed by Wire..." "Commercial Use In Doubt" and more. This article carries over to page 20 which is almost entirely taken up with this detailed report & which includes 3 related photos. It also has a banner head: "Television Triumphs In its first Demonstration Between New York and Washington".
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Complete with all 48 pages, light toning at the margins, a little irregular along the spine, generally in very nice condition.
