THE NEW YORK TIMES, July 6, 1919

* Babe Ruth's 1st ever 2 home run game
* Boston Red Sox - MLB baseball
* R-34 airship flight to America

The sport's section (page 16) has small one column headings: "MACKMEN WIN TWO" "Babe Ruth's Two Home Runs fall to Save Red Sox from Defeat" with box scores. (see) First report on Babe Ruth hitting two home runs for the first time in his baseball career. He would do this 72 times total throughout his career. Nice to have in this famous NYC title.
Other news of the day including a nice front page headline and photo on the R-34 airship crossing the Atlantic Ocean.
Complete 1st section only with all 22 pages, light toning at the margins, a few binding slits along the spine, generally nice.
