ST. LOUIS GLOBE-DEMOCRAT, May 2, 1885  The first column of the ftpg. has a great, illustrated article for Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, headed: "There Has Been, and are, Divers Imitators But on SUNDAY, MAY 10 at FAIR GROUNDS Will be  seen the Originator, with the Originated and Consequently THE ONLY ORIGINAL BUFFALO BILL'S WILD WEST...Led by Hon. W. F. Cody, Buffalo Bill" with the illustrations including a likeness of Buffalo Bill. Much text as well.
What is interesting is the emphasis on "imitators" and just above the Buffalo Bill ad is one for an imitator: "LIFE ON THE PLAINS...DR. W. F. CARVER, Evil Spirit of the Plains. Champion Shot of the World..." with more text and a print of  stagecoach attack by Indians. Minor rubbing in this ad (see).
Sixteen pages, very nice condition.
