Among the first column heads on page 6 is: "Where Bill Longley Wants to be When Gabriel Blows His Horn", as well as: "The Texas Man-Killer" which is about the Texas outlaw Bill Longley. The article begins: "As the execution of the notorious Texas desperado and assassin, Wm. P. Longley, approaches public interest in that criminal & murderer increases..." with much more. He would be hanged on October 11, 1878.
Eight pages, very nice condition.
