NEW YORK DAILY TRIBUNE, Oct. 24, 1846 The ftpg. has: "The War In Mexico" which has 4 paragraphs of reports including; "The original plan of operations in Mexico has been lately modified...it was supposed that the Mexicans would make no show of opposition to the invasion...Now appears that Gen. Wood is to join Gen. Taylor at Saltillo...General Patterson, with a large force, is to be transported to Tampico..." with more (see).
Inside has: "Siege of Monterey--Rumor". Four pages, good condition.
