NILES' WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, Maryland, September 15, 1832 The first six pages of this issue pertain to the Census. "We now complete the late census of the United States, by counties -- the present a very valuable table showing, at once, the results of the censuses of 1790, 1800, 1810, 1820 and 1830". Other articles are within the issue.
Complete in 16 pages, measure 6 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches, in very good condition.
This small size newspaper began in 1811 and was a prime source for national political news of the first half of the 19th century. As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
