Page 2 has a letter from Springfield, Mass., concerning the Shays' Rebellion noting in part: "The insurgents who came in town last week to obstruct the sitting of the court amounted to about 250...The leaders of the insurgents, the two Days, and Grover, were invited to dine at the tavern..." and more (see).
Page 3 has a nice letter signed by General: H. Knox, presenting a ceremonial sword to William Pierce, an officer of the Revolutionary War and member of the Continental Congress.
