RICHMOND WHIG AND PUBLIC ADVERTISER, Virginia, Nov. 14, 1862 

* Rare from the capital of the Confederacy

This is one of the less common titles from the capital of the Confederates States of America. The front page has: "Supplies for the Army" "Eastern North Carolina" "The Affair Near Shepherdstown, Sept. 30th--Misrepresentations Corrected" "The Late Invasion of Fredericksburg" "From Northern Virginia" "Latest From North Carolina--Probable Designs of the Enemy".
Page 2 includes: "The News" "A Case for Retaliation" "The Spirit of the Invaded" "Supplies For the Soldiers" "Richmond's Offering to the Army" and there are also several "General Orders" from the Confederacy. Some war news on pg. 3: "Later From the North" "Latest From North Carolina" "Eastern North Carolina" "A Skirmish in Tennessee".
The back page has some war items as well including: "The War In Arkansas" "The News" "The Army & the Cause" "What the Blockade Has Done for Us" "From Tennessee--Death of Prominent Officers" and other items.
Four pages, some chipping at the blank margins and various small archival mends at the margins as well but not affecting any text.
