BRUSSELER ZEITUNG, Brussels, Belgium, Dec. 11, 1941 The "Brussels Newspaper" was a regional German-language daily newspaper with editorial office in Brussels. It existed during the German occupation of Belgium during the Second World War from July 1, 1940 to September 2, 1944. It was part of a group of newspapers created specifically for the territories occupied by Germany and later retaken following Allied reconquest later in the war.
The banner headline announces (translated): "The English Far East Fleet Has Already Been Decisively Weakened." Also on the ftpg. is a photo of Hitler meeting with the Grant Mufti, the highest official of religious law in Sunni Muslim countries.
Eight pages, a minor repair near the right margin of the front leaf, foxing at the folds, generally good.
