The Feb. 6th issue has a one column heading on page 20: "Mark Broken by Seabiscuit" with subhead. (see) First report coverage on famous racehorse, Seabiscuit, winning the Riggs Handicap at Baltimore, Maryland.
You also get the issue of the 5th which was the day of the race. Page 24 has a banner headline: "Seabiscuit Is Nominated by Collyer to Capture Riggs Handicap at Laurel" with subhead. (see)
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day. Each issue is complete with 32 and 28 pages, light toning and a little wear at the margins, generally in good condition.

Seabiscuit breaks the track record while carrying a startling 130 pounds. With the win, Seabiscuit now moves past War Admiral in earnings by $9,000.
