April 25, 1926

THE NEW YORK TIMES, April 25, 1926

* Early televisor
* John Baird - father of television

Page XX17 (near the back) has a nice banner headline that reads: "INVENTOR DESCRIBES HIS RADIO MOTION PICTURES" with subheads that include: "TELEVISOR LETS RADIO FANS "LOOK IN" AS WELL AS LISTEN" and more with related photo. (see) A very significant event marking the founding of television, an invention which would change not only the worlds of entertainment & & communication forever, but society as well.
A significant issue for any collector of television history. Complete in a 100+ page Sunday edition, a few small binding slits along the spine, generally nice.
