THE WEEKLY REGISTER, Baltimore, Nov. 27, 1813  Nearly a page is taken up with: "commodore Rodgers" which is a: "...sketch of the character of commodore Rodgers...". This is followed by "Events of the War" which is 3 1/2 pages of the latest news of the War of 1812 including subheads: "Torpedoes" "A Proclamation" signed in type: Wm. H. Harrison, concerning an armistice between the U.S. and various Indian tribes (see). This is followed by another: "A Proclamation" signed in type by both: Wm. H. Harrison & Oliver H. Perry; "British Officials" "Military"; a letter dated: "Camp at Ten Islands" signed in type: Andrew Jackson; "Naval" "American Prizes" and more.

Complete in 16 pages, 6 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches, closed trimmed at the bottom of some pages, some very lite scattered foxing, otherwise in very good condition.

This small size newspaper began in 1811 and was a prime source for national political news of the first half of the 19th century. As noted in Wikipedia, this title: "...(was) one of the most widely-circulated magazines in the United States...Devoted primarily to politics...considered an important source for the history of the period."
