Items of interest as noted in the table of content include: "Spruce Beer, how made in North America" "Account of the Acts concerning Coroners" "Piety of Mahometans""Description of the Island of Minorca" "A Militia Preferable to Any Regular Troops"  "Hydrophobia cured by Excessive Bleeding" "Recovery From Drowning" and a news report from "Charles Town [Charleston] South Carolina".
Contains a print of "An Antique Representation of Mars" but is lacking the State House plate and other plates called for.
Complete in 48 pages, full title/contents page with an engraving of St. John's Gate, 5 1/2  by 8 1/2 inches, very nice condition.

A very nice pre-Revolutionary War magazine from the "mother country". This was the first periodical to use the word "magazine" in its title, having begun in 1731 and lasting until 1907.
