The top of the front page has a Civil War map headed: "THE RECENT MOVEMENT. Scene of the Operations on the 5th Inst. at Hatcher's Run". Many nice one column war heads including: "RICHMOND" "Grant's Diplomacy Resumed" "Details Up to the Latest Moment" "WILMINGTON" "The Peace Mission" "The Results of the Mission as Anticipated by the Rebels" "The Abolition of Slavery" with related subheads.
More war reporting inside as well including: "THE SOUTH" "Will The Rebels Arm Their Slaves?" 'Interesting Debate on the Davis Proposition to Employ Them in the Army" "Charleston Selected as the 'Last Ditch' " and more.
Eight pages, very nice condition.
