This Genuine newspaper has a Wealth of Civil War reporting from during Abraham Lincoln's administration. Among the one column headlines on the Civil War are: "FROM WASHINGTON", "Strength of the Rebel Army in Front of Sherman", "Whence Beauregard and Johnston Collected Their Forces", "Hood's Old Army Unable to Form a Junction with Them", "THE WAR IN THE SOUTHWEST", "OUR RETURNED PRISONERS", "The Richmond and Danville Prisons Empty" and more.
Complete in eight pages. This issue is not fragile as newsprint from this era was made of cotton and linen rags, allowing them to remain very pliable and easy to handle. A little light foxing, generally nice.
