* Completed construction of the Statue of Liberty
The entire front page is a great, detailed illustration captioned: "The Statue Of Liberty As It Will Appear When Completed" showing it on its pedestal on Bedloe's Island, New York harbor. Inside has 1 1/2 pages of text and prints on the Statue, several showing the: "Elevation, Plans, and Sections of Pedestal, Showing Method of Anchoring the Statue" as well as showing the structural steel within the statue. A very nice issue offering a preview to the world, over a year before its dedication in 1886.
Lacking an inside leaf which had no Statue of Liberty content.
Fourteen of 16 pages present, nice condition.
