THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, Oct. 9, 1760

The front page has an item headed "America" from New York noting: "...five transport vessels from Carolina arrived here having on board Col. Montgomery & the troops under his command...to proceed to Albany..." and more. Inside has another "America" report taking over a full column with news concerning the French & Indian War. Page 3 has: "A Refutation of the Letter to an Hon. Brigadier-General Commander of his Majesty's Forces in Canada" with much on General Wolfe and one bit noting: "...The taking of Quebec deserves a great deal more...", and over half of page 2 is taken up with: "A Description of Montreal".
Eight pages, 8 by 11 inches, very nice condition.
