The front page has a great wealth of news, some items including: "The Habeas Corpus Writ in North Carolina" "The First Thirty Days of the Spring Campaign" "The Desire for Peace" "The Last Raid on Richmond" "Northern News" "News Summary" "Action of the 3rd Georgia Battalion of Sharp-Shooters" "More of Butler's Doings" "A Gallant Feat" "Remarks of Gen. Breckinridge at Lynchburg" and even more.
All of pg. 2 & half of pg. 3 are taken up with: "Governor Brown's Message". Also: "Official From Gen. Polk" "Latest From the Front" "From Mississippi" "Letter From the Front" "Action of the 12th Georgia Battalion" "Yankee Protection to Negroe Soldiers" and even more.
Four pages, large folio size, some discrete archival mends at folds or margins, a small hole & ink stain at an upper fold juncture, otherwise in nice condition. Never bound nor trimmed.
