Page 8 has an article with small one column headings: "WINDS DELAY HINDENBURG" "German Airship Expected Here This Evening, 12 Hours Late" Coverage on the famous airship when it was making it's final approach in Lakehurst prior to it's historic explosion.

Complete with all 52 pages, this is the rare rag edition that was produced on very high quality newsprint, with a high percentage of cotton & linen content, allowing the issues to remain very white & sturdy into the present. Given the subscription cost, libraries & institutions rather than individuals were the primary subscribers of these high-quality editions. Nice condition.
wikipedia notes: The first of 10 scheduled round trips between Europe and the United States to be made by the Hindenburg in the 1937 season departed Frankfurt for Lakehurst on the evening of May 3 and except for strong headwinds which slowed the passage the crossing was uneventful. The airship was only half full with 36 passengers (capacity 70) and 61 crew members (including 21 training crew members), but the return flight was fully booked by people planning to attend the festivities for the coronation of King George VI in London the following week.
